Community Day 2024

Community Day is an Â鶹ÊÓƵ tradition and an opportunity for our campus community to engage with our SSND heritage and charism.  The 2024 theme will be grounded in our University’s commitment to Laudato Si’. Our keynote address will be from 11am-12pm in LeClerc Theatre. Following the keynote, we invite all attendees to share in a community lunch in Doyle Dining. Afterwards, faculty, staff and students will join for facilitated workshops held throughout campus from 1pm-1:45pm and 2pm-2:45pm.

Book Artist Lecture: Emily Martin

Emily Martin is an acclaimed artist and educator, weaving personal narrative, timeless literary works, and present-day themes with humor and insight into more than fifty artists' books. Her limited edition works often incorporate innovative movable and sculptural paper engineering techniques and are included in public and private collections throughout the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; the Tate Britain, London; the Library of Congress; and the Loyola Notre Dame Library.
