Biography

Mayrim Millan-Barea, PharmD, MBA, BCPS is the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations and Medication Use Systems at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She earned her doctorate pharmacy degree from Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2018. Mayrim completed a combined PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and earned her Masters of Business Administration degree from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2020. Mayrim is currently serving as Adjunct Professor for the Department of Clinical Sciences at Â鶹ÊÓƵ School of Pharmacy. In this role, Mayrim teaches various lectures for the ‘Human Resources Management’ course and is the course coordinator for ‘Entrepreneurship: The Lean Method Approach’ course.

Research Interests

Mayrim Millan-Barea’s professional interests include academia, infectious diseases, employee and professional development, data driven operational decision making, and drug shortage management.
